To kick off #TheDig2023 at Smallhythe, join National Trust Archaeologist Nathalie Cohen and maritime expert Gustav Milne who will discuss the discoveries made during archaeological excavations and research. From the Time Team digs in the late 1990s to the more recent works undertaken by the National Trust and Archaeology South-East, this talk will describe how our understanding of Smallhythe past has developed over the decades.
