Discover the wartime archaeology of Sheringham Park on this morning walking tour, including a chance to visit restored World War II pillboxes, usually closed to the public.

Spend the morning taking in the wartime history of Sheringham Park with Assistant Ranger Rupert Eris, and a team of volunteers. Learn about the long history of threats of invasion on the North Norfolk coast and how the pillboxes fit into the wider wartime defence landscape. This tour will take approx. 3 hours. There are no facilities on the route, but there is a café and toilet facilities near the visitor centre.

The Bittern line from Norwich runs into Sheringham Station, it's a 2 mile walk from the Upper Sheringham entrance to the park.
