Patrick Lambert, Project Officer at Oxford Archaeology, presents a journey through the weird and wonderful lives and deaths of a Roman villa at Priors Hall, Corby, based on the results of the excavations by Oxford Archaeology between 2019 - 2021. The discoveries were nothing less than spectacular, which included two Roman roads, a Roman builder's yard, where they produced 1000's of tiles and pottery vessels for the builders of the villa and many more surprises! We revealed that it's not just what the Romans did for us, but how they did it.

The excavations won the Current Archaeology Award for Rescue Project of the Year 2022 and it's a journey not to be missed.
