For the 2026 Festival of Archaeology, we're excited to introduce our first cosy online workshop. Join us on the morning of the 26th of July to make pots, baskets, chill-out, and enjoy some curated nature infused music playlists.
In this online zoom session, artist Grace Adams will lead us in making simple finger pots and weaving baskets. Join us as we make and chat about how people have used these objects across the ages, and reflect on the way in which nature plays a part in providing materials for making, and elements for decorating with.
You’ll need a few simple ingredients and tools, things you’ll have at home - we'll share more information about what you need in the booking information.
Age guidance: this session is perfect for ages 6 up, families, creative and crafty minds.
