A history of West Berkshire’s Treasure.
In 2023 the new Treasure Act came into force by which time 11,000 finds had been recorded on the Portable Antiquities Scheme for the whole of Berkshire (all 6 unitary authorities), 8000 of which came from West Berkshire. West Berkshire Museum and the Berkshire Finds Liaison Officer are celebrating those landmarks with this exhibition, which will look at the history of Treasure as well as displaying some of the fascinating Treasure finds that have been recorded.

The exhibition runs from 26 June 2024 to 1 June 2025. West Berkshire Museum is open on Wednesdays to Sundays, 10am to 4pm each day.
