Connectivity, Creativity and identity: Social Transformations in the Third Millennium BCE Cyclades.

The seminar is a series of talks regarding the Aegean Bronze Age. They are all hybrid and open to everyone, as the main purpose is to provide people with stimuli on the archaeological research of this region and era.

The next talk will be given this Friday at 12:00 by Dr Michael Boyd and it will be on the excavations at Keros.

The third millennium BCE in Europe is a time of expanding horizons, the increasing importance of information, and new identities forged in connectivity. In the Aegean, these changes are manifest in a series of creative social experiments that ultimately lead toward the large-scale, complex societies of the Minoan and Mycenaean worlds.
