Kirkstall Lives is a community display which celebrates the lives of people who have lived, worked and visited the Leeds suburb of Kirkstall. Famous for its dramatic 12th century abbey, the area has long been a thriving community, with generations of families calling Kirkstall home. 

From historic institutions including Kirkstall brewery and the Abbey Picture House, to St Stephen’s school and the Kirkstall Festival, this exhibition will explore the memories of people who have made Kirkstall a part of their history.
