Trustee – Council for British Archaeology
The CBA Board of Trustees oversees the strategic and financial management of the organisation. Trustees help shape the CBA’s vision and strategy, ensure financial oversight, and confirm the organisation is fulfilling its obligations as a charity.
- Trustees serve an initial 3-year term, with the option to stand for re-election.
- Appointments are made via nomination; if nominations exceed vacancies, a ballot will be held at the AGM.
- These are unpaid voluntary roles, but travel and accommodation expenses are covered when incurred in the role.
We are particularly keen to receive nominations from individuals with experience or interest in:
- Communications and Marketing
- Safeguarding
How to Apply:
Send nominations to [email protected] by midnight on Thursday 20th November 2025.
If you’d like help with the nomination process or want to arrange a confidential, informal conversation about the role, please contact Neil Redfern, Executive Director, at 07437 180732 or via email.
Note: The CBA AGM will be held on Saturday 21st February 2026, when nominations will be put forward to the membership.
