Audience impact and data collection: An audience discovery session

Facilitated by Resources for Change, the Council for British Archaeology will host an interactive ‘audience discovery’ session so that the Archaeology Audience Network can reflect and share on current approaches to data collection.

Facilitated by Resources for Change, the Council for British Archaeology will host an interactive ‘audience discovery’ session so that the Archaeology Audience Network can reflect and share on current approaches to data collection to help inform new ideas relevant to a range of audiences. The session will also consider why data collection is so important for understanding audience impact – crucial for future project design and fundraising.

This workshop is designed for voluntary groups and societies engaging in archaeology and heritage activities, although all are welcome.

The Archaeology Audience Network is a project that brings together many of the UK’s leading archaeological organisations to build the most accurate picture to date of the audiences that public and community archaeology attracts and engages with in England and make it freely accessible online.

The Archaeology Audience Network is funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) and The National Lottery through The Heritage Fund’s Digital Skills for Heritage initiative, the project is being delivered in partnership between MOLA, the Archaeology Data Service, Council for British Archaeology, DigVentures, Oxford Archaeology, Wessex Archaeology and York Archaeological Trust. You can find out more about the Archaeology Audience Network here https://www.mola.org.uk/aan.

*Please only book one session to give others an equal opportunity.
