Self-Guided Walks Through History

The in-person event at the National Trust's Longshaw Estate, Moorland Discovery Centre, will go ahead on Sunday, 16 October from 10:00 to 16:00. Please drop by and explore the self-guided walks based on the PhD research of Martina Tenzer in the Peak District National Park and Sheffield City, collect a waterproof map of your favourite walk and a Kendal Mint Cake, and set off to explore the stories of landscapes through the eyes of the residents. Anna Badcock (PDNPA) and Martina Tenzer hope to see you all there for a lovely chat about walking in the Peak and the special connection of local residents to their favourite "everyday heritage" places.

You can read everything about the project and location here: https://www.peopleandplaces.uk

This project is part of a PhD research at the University of York and funded by a WRoCAH AHRC studentship.
