A walk around the ancient woodland of Hodgemoor Woods, Seer Green, Buckinghamshire, covering 2000 years of history - from an Iron Age / Romano-British farmstead and Roman Road; through medieval agriculture; 17th century Pest House; Georgian / Victorian clay extraction and brick making; through to 20th century occupation by troops prior to D-Day, and post-war reuse as a Resettlement Camp.

This walk is about 3.5km, it is entirely on woodland paths and bridleways which can be muddy and rough. The walk can be followed using a mobile device and the LoveExploring App (download via Apple or Google), and more detailed information is also available through an ArcGIS 'Storymap' at the ourlivingvillage.org website.
