Family Workshop Online
Join Andy for an interactive online family craft workshop to make a model Bronze Age dagger out of junk.
We’ll be using scrap card from the recycling bin and things that you should have lying around at home to make a model of the Hameldown Dagger discovered in 1872 in a Bronze Age Burial Cairn.

This is a list of what you will need to make the model Hameldown Dagger.
- Basic craft kit- scissors, sellotape, glue- prittstick or pva(school) glue or double sided sticky tape, pencil or pen
- Thin card from a packet like a cereal box
- Corrugated card -thin enough to cut with scissors- like a home delivery box
- Garden twine for handle (optional)
- Brass paper fasteners for decoration (optional)
- Thin stick similar to barbeque skewer about 15cm long
- Tin foil to wrap the blade
- Red or orange paint and brush for handle
